Please read these terms carefully before using RECOMMENDii. By creating an account or using this platform you agree to be bound by these terms.
Last updated: July 29, 2026RECOMMENDii is a corporation incorporated in Ontario, Canada. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the RECOMMENDii platform, including all associated pages, features, and services available at recommendii.com.
RECOMMENDii operates as a neutral platform that connects businesses with independent individuals who choose to publicly recommend them. RECOMMENDii does not itself recommend, endorse, certify, or vouch for any business or RECOMMENDer on the platform. All recommendations displayed are the personal opinions of the individual RECOMMENDers who made them.
The platform is available to residents of the United States and Canada only.
You must have reached the age of majority in your province, state, or territory to use RECOMMENDii. The age of majority is 18 in most Canadian provinces and US states, and 19 in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, and Yukon.
By creating an account you confirm that you have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
RECOMMENDii is restricted to users located in the United States and Canada. Use of the platform from outside these jurisdictions is not permitted.
To access most features of RECOMMENDii you must create an account. When registering you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify RECOMMENDii immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account where you have failed to maintain the security of your credentials.
One account per individual is permitted. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules or restrictions is prohibited.
Individuals who create RECOMMENDer profiles on RECOMMENDii operate as independent operators, not as employees, agents, or contractors of RECOMMENDii. The relationship between a RECOMMENDer and any business they recommend is entirely their own and is governed by the Independent Operator Agreement, which must be accepted at registration.
RECOMMENDers choose independently which businesses to recommend and bear full personal responsibility for the recommendations they make. A RECOMMENDer's reputation is publicly associated with every recommendation they make on the platform.
Businesses listed on RECOMMENDii accept the Business Hosting Agreement at the time they create their listing. Businesses pay a hosting fee of $50 per 30 days per active RECOMMENDer, billed in 180-day blocks, in the currency of the business's country of residence plus applicable taxes.
Businesses have the right to accept, suspend, or cancel any Recommendationship at any time, for any reason, without notice or explanation. This control is fundamental to the platform's self-policing design and ensures that only current, credible recommendations are displayed.
A business profile is publicly visible only when it has at least one active, paid Recommendationship. Businesses with no active Recommendationships are not shown in search results or public listings.
All payments on RECOMMENDii are processed through PayPal. By initiating a payment you agree to PayPal's terms of service in addition to these terms. RECOMMENDii does not store payment card information.
Payments are non-refundable once a Recommendationship is activated. If a business suspends or cancels a Recommendationship before the end of a paid period, the remaining days are banked and may be applied to future connections. No cash refunds are issued for unused banked days.
Applicable taxes are collected at the time of payment based on the business's registered province or state. Tax rates are applied in accordance with current Canadian federal and provincial tax laws and applicable US state tax requirements.
RECOMMENDii operates on a principle of real identity and genuine reputation. All users agree not to:
RECOMMENDii does not police the conduct of users directly. The platform is designed to be self-policing. Businesses control who represents them, and RECOMMENDers' public reputations are on the line with every recommendation they make. Users who engage in misconduct will naturally find themselves with no active connections and therefore no visibility on the platform.
RECOMMENDii is a platform only. We do not recommend, endorse, investigate, verify, or guarantee any business or RECOMMENDer listed on the platform. All recommendations are the personal opinions of independent individuals. RECOMMENDii makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, legality, or suitability of any business or service featured on the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RECOMMENDii shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any recommendation made through it, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.
RECOMMENDii's total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to RECOMMENDii in the three months preceding the claim.
The RECOMMENDii name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of RECOMMENDii corporation. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.
Content you submit to the platform, including profile descriptions, images, and service listings, remains your property. By submitting content you grant RECOMMENDii a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of providing the service.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of material changes to these terms through the email address associated with their account.
You may discontinue use of RECOMMENDii at any time. If you wish to delete your account please contact us through the platform.
As noted above, RECOMMENDii does not remove RECOMMENDers or businesses from the platform. Account visibility is determined entirely by active connections. A user with no active connections has no public presence on the platform.
In exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to fraudulent activity, violation of applicable law, or conduct that poses a risk to the integrity of the platform, RECOMMENDii reserves the right to suspend access to an account.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of RECOMMENDii shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario. You consent to personal jurisdiction in Ontario for the purpose of any such dispute.
