What is a Recommendationship?

It's More Than a Connection. It's a Commitment.

On most platforms, a connection is just a link. Two profiles joined together. No meaning. No commitment. Just a number going up.

A Recommendationship is different.

What makes it a Recommendationship

A Recommendationship is the relationship created between a RECOMMENDer and a business when three things happen:

Only then does it become a Recommendationship. Not before. Not after just one side decides. Both sides have to say yes.

Why it has to be mutual

A recommendation only means something if the person making it actually means it.

That is why a RECOMMENDer cannot be forced into recommending someone they don't believe in. And a business cannot be recommended without knowing it. Both sides have a choice. Both sides can say no.

That mutual agreement is what gives a Recommendationship its value. It is not just marketing. It is a real commitment from both sides.

Either side can end a Recommendationship at any time.
A RECOMMENDer who no longer stands behind a business can walk away. A business that no longer wants to be represented by a particular RECOMMENDer can end it. That ability to walk away is what keeps the network honest.

What a Recommendationship is not

It is not a review. There is no score. No stars. No "would recommend" checkbox.

It is not an endorsement deal. RECOMMENDers are not paid to say nice things. They earn a share of what the business pays, only when there is an active Recommendationship they have agreed to.

It is not permanent. Either side can pause or end it. That is not a weakness. That is the point.

What a Recommendationship looks like in real life

A barber has been sending clients to the same physiotherapist for three years. She trusts them. Her clients trust her. She creates a Recommendationship with the physiotherapy clinic on RECOMMENDii. Now anyone who scans her QR card or visits her profile can see that recommendation and knows it comes from someone who has a real relationship with both them and that clinic.

That is a Recommendationship. A real person. A real business. A real commitment. In public.

How many should you have?

As many as you can genuinely stand behind. Not as many as you can get.

A RECOMMENDer with five Recommendationships they believe in completely is worth more to themselves and to the people who trust them than one with fifty they barely know.

The value of a Recommendationship comes from its honesty. Protect that and your network grows in the right direction.
